Spring Training Preview: Dodgers Look For Split Of Cactus League Games Vs. Brewers
Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports

Four days after meeting for the first time in 2019 Spring Training, the Los Angeles Dodgers and Milwaukee Brewers square off once again, with the scene shifting to American Family Fields of Phoenix.

Yasmani Grandal and the Brewers previously got the better of their 2018 National League Championship Series opponent, as they scored four runs in the eighth inning to steal a 9-8 comeback win at Camelback Ranch.

Grandal went hitless in two at-bats that afternoon and is in the lineup once more against his former team. He’s batting .286/.474/.393 with three doubles and one RBI this spring.

Grandal and the Brewers face Hyun-Jin Ryu, who has been nothing short of stellar thus far. He’s yet to earn a decision in four Cactus League starts but has allowed just two runs in 10 innings (1.80 ERA) and pitched to a 0.90 WHIP.

Having gone four innings in his last outing, Ryu figures to stretch out to five frames against the Brewers.

Caleb Ferguson, Pedro Baez, Yimi Garcia and Dylan Floro are also expected to pitch for the Dodgers.

The Brewers counter with Corbin Burnes, who is making a fifth consecutive start and sixth overall appearance this year. Burners has struggled some of late and allowed at least two earned runs in three of his past four outings.
