The Los Angeles Dodgers announced a number of new offerings and improvements to Dodger Stadium for fans to enjoy during the 2024 season.

Prior to their home opener, the Dodgers unveiled the Japanese stone lantern that was gifted to them in 1965 at a new location on the top deck of Dodger Stadium.

The eight-foot tall, 3,921-pound Kasuga-style stone lantern was presented to the Dodgers by Japanese sports columnist Sotaro Suzuki, who is a member of the Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame.

By placing the Dodgers’ Japanese lantern on the top deck, fans will have an opportunity to visit with and take photographs of it throughout the season.

Dodger Stadium improvements

Dodgers 365

The Dodgers have expanded on the previously announced launch of Dodgers 365, a department focused on non-baseball event initiatives and new opportunities for people to engage with Dodger Stadium.

Dodgers 365 has centralized its efforts by combining tours, stadium rentals and other ticketed event experiences to program the stadium year-round. Specifically, there will be more pregame tours and VIP tours of Dodger Stadium this season, including the addition of Japanese tours.

Drone shows return

After a successful debut last season, the Dodgers announced that their postgame drone shows will return this year. Fans have 10 opportunities to witness the drones shows, which take place after the games with special themes and unique music.

The minimum number of drones has expanded from 400 to 500, and four of the shows will feature 1,000 drones.

Additional upgrades

The Dodgers announced that the benches of the pavilion seats were refreshed to better serve fans during the offseason.

Fans will also be able to place food orders through UberEats and pick up them from express pick-up lanes at select stands.

In an effort to reduce paper usage, QR codes are now available in premium seating areas. Fans can scan the QR code using their smart phones to easily access the day’s menu.

That will come in handy with the variety of new Dodger Stadium food options for the 2024 season, including a Korean fried chicken bucket, birria burger, fried pickles, BBQ offerings, Japanese fare and much more.
