MLB Ballpark Bites Menu Available For Delivery Apps Through IHOP Ghost Kitchens

MLB collaborated with Virtual Dining Concepts (VDC) to launch Ballpark Bites, a menu available on food delivery apps across the United States.

It was created for fans to enjoy flavors of various stadium foods from the comfort of their home. Items from the Ballpark Bites menu can be ordered on food delivery service apps Doordash, Postmates, Uber Eats, and MLB.com/BallparkBites.

Food options include various hot dogs, Philly cheesesteak sandwich and donut holes, among more items. Ballpark Bites are made out of ghost kitchens at various IHOP restaurants. Fans can order from nearly 400 locations around the country, with more availability expected throughout the 2024 season.

“Ballpark food is truly unique to baseball and all 30 of our wonderful Clubs,” MLB executive vice president and chief marketing officer Karin Timpone said in a statement.

“We understand that not everyone has the opportunity to visit an MLB or MiLB ballpark, so we wanted to create Ballpark Bites for fans to enjoy a part of that experience from the comfort of their own home, a local park or even at work. We think this is another fun way to connect with our fans on their schedule and let them enjoy a distinctive part of our game more often.”

Food is delivered in custom packaging that include customized QR codes linking to unique promotions that change during the season. With the initial launch, QR codes on Ballpark Bites boxes offer 20% off an MLBShop.com merchandise order.

Throughout the season, a Ballpark Bites food truck is going visit baseball and cultural events, including MLB at Rickwood Field, 2024 All-Star Week, Hall of Fame Weekend in Cooperstown and Postseason games.

LA Street Dog: Grilled all-beef hot dog topped with hickory-smoked bacon, sauteed jalapeños, serrano peppers, onions, mayo, mustard and avocado in a soft pretzel roll

New York Steakhouse Sandwich: Sirloin steak tips with grilled onions and crispy onion piece in a soft pretzel roll

Philly Cheesesteak: Thinly sliced steak with caramelized onions and cheese sauce in a soft pretzel roll

Ball Bucket: Doughnut holes served with cream cheese icing and caramel sauce
