The Los Angeles Dodgers 2020 Spring Training officially begins Sunday, Feb. 23, against the Chicago Cubs at Camelback Ranch. The Dodgers’ preliminary Spring Training scheduled called for their 2020 Cactus League opener to come against the San Francisco Giants at Scottsdale Stadium.

L.A. and San Francisco are now set to play a doubleheader on Friday, March 6.

Curiously, it’s not until Monday, Feb. 24, that the Dodgers face their Camelback Ranch co-tenant Chicago White Sox. Of their 30 Cactus League games, the Dodgers play 16 of them at Camelback Ranch, with all but one as the designated home team.

With the scheduling change the Dodgers now are in split-squad action on four dates: Feb. 29 (@ Colorado Rockies; vs. Arizona Diamondbacks), March 6 (@ Giants; vs. Seattle Mariners), March 12 (@ Chicago Cubs; vs. Oakland Athletics) and March 20 (@ Los Angeles Angels; vs. Kansas City Royals).

The Dodgers play a game at Camelback Ranch on four of six Saturdays throughout Spring Training. Their only off days of the spring are March 3 and 10, both of which are Tuesdays.

The Dodgers’ Spring Training schedule concludes with the annual exhibition Freeway Series. After breaking camp, the team will return to Southern California for a game at Angel Stadium on Sunday, March 22. The three-game series then shifts to Dodger Stadium on March 23 and 24.

L.A. will then begin the 2020 regular season on Thursday, March 26, by hosting the Giants in the opener of a three-game series. It bests the earliest domestic start date in MLB history (March 28), which was set last year.

Complete start times for 2020 Cactus League games will be announced at a later date. Single-game tickets, priced as low as $10, will be available Jan. 6, 2020. Fans can sign up for a ticket information waiting list at www.camelbackranchbaseball.com to be notified as soon as ticket packages are available.

The Dodgers are entering their 12th year at Camelback Ranch. The property features a state-of-the-art ballpark, six practice fields on their side of the complex, including a replica Dodger Stadium field, fan photo elements commemorating franchise history, walking trails, an orange grove and a five-acre lake.
