After taking the first two games of the series, the Los Angeles Dodgers can complete a sweep of the Colorado Rockies with another win on Wednesday.

Mitch White makes his seventh start and 12th overall appearance of the season. He originally was slated to pitch on Tuesday, but the Dodgers opted to start Ryan Pepiot instead.

White was tabbed with a no-decision in his last start against the San Diego Padres after allowing one run on six hits and collecting three strikeouts over 4.2 innings of work.

The right-hander enters at 1-1 with a 3.93 ERA, 3.84 FIP and 1.19 WHIP in 34.1 innings pitched this season. He owns a 1-1 record, 4.00 ERA and 1.11 WHIP in three career games against the Rockies (one start).

Colorado counters with José Ureña, who was recalled from Triple-A Albuquerque prior to first pitch. The right-hander began the 2022 season with the Milwaukee Brewers and allowed five runs (three earned) over four appearances.

Ureña struggled to the tune of an 0-1 record along with a 7.29 ERA and 2.14 WHIP in five starts for the Rockies’ Triple-A affiliate. In eight MLB seasons, he has pitched to a 36-54 record, 3.52 ERA, 5.98 FIP and 1.57 WHIP across 705.1 innings.

Ureña has fared well against the Dodgers in his career, going 1-2 with a 2.95 ERA and 1.20 WHIP over 18.1 frames (four games, three starts).

The Dodgers have scored five runs in their last two games with Justin Turner and Max Muncy starting to look more like the players they were expected to be coming into the season. Austin Barnes is also getting a start behind the plate to give Will Smith a day off.

Craig Kimbrel will be available as the Dodgers’ closer tonight after missing their previous few games with an injury, according to manager Dave Roberts.

Prior to the game, the Dodgers made a pair of roster moves. Chris Taylor was placed on the 10-day injured list with a left foot fracture and Zach McKinstry was activated off the IL. Caleb Ferguson was also activated off the 15-day IL and Ryan Pepiot was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City.
