The Los Angeles Dodgers are back in the National League Division Series for a ninth consecutive year, though their latest appearance comes by way of playing in the Wild Card Game for the first time in franchise history.

The Dodgers advancing to the NLDS sets the stage for a highly-anticipated showdown with the NL West champion San Francisco Giants. While the Dodgers tied a franchise record with 106 wins, the Giants made their own organizational history with 107 victories.

Thus, the NLDS begins at Oracle Park with Game 1 on Friday night. The Giants also have home-field advantage for Game 2 on Saturday, and if necessary a Game 5 on Thursday, Oct. 14.

With the Dodgers beginning the best-of-five series on the road, the team is hosting NLDS viewing parties in the center field plaza at Dodger Stadium. Entertainment options are to include pitching and batting cages, dugout augmented reality experience and additional big screens for viewing.

Parking and Dodger Stadium gates open one hour before first pitch of the road games. Friday’s start time is set for 6:37 p.m. PT, and Game 2 is slated to begin at 6:07 p.m. Viewing party tickets are priced at $70 and include free parking along with a $20 food and beverage credit, plus a replica 2020 World Series ring.

Dodgers merchandise will be available for purchase, and the Overlook Bars, Dueling Dogs, Golden Road Bar, Shake Shack, Jim Beam Bar, food truck, ice cream truck and michelada fire truck will be among the concessions open during the viewing parties.

Additionally, the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation will have their Homebase location open in the center field plaza, where fans can purchase $10 t-shirts and autographed memorabilia while supplies last.

NLDS schedule: Dodgers vs. Giants start times

Game 2: Saturday, Oct. 9, 6:07 p.m. PT, TBS

Game 3: Monday, Oct. 11, TBD, TBS
