The Los Angeles Dodgers partnered with the L.A. County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk to host a mobile vote center at Dodger Stadium for the 2022 Primary Election.

This is the second time Dodger Stadium will act as a voting center and the first since 2020, when the Dodgers became the first team in MLB to make its ballpark available for voting.

The mobile vote center was first available to voters on Saturday, May 28, the Opening Day of the voting period, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Any L.A. County voter can visit the stadium and cast their ballot, drop off their vote by mail ballot, or register to vote.

A second mobile vote center date is being held Wednesday, June 1, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Beginning at 3 p.m., voters attending the Dodgers’ 5:10 p.m. game against the Pittsburgh Pirates will be allowed to enter the stadium.

“We are very proud to once again partner with Los Angeles County to make Dodger Stadium an accessible voting location for county residents,” Dodgers president and CEO Stan Kasten said in a statement.

“Voting is a civic duty and by bringing the LA County Mobile Vote Center to Dodger Stadium, we reaffirm our commitment to ensuring that all Angelenos have the opportunity to participate in the upcoming election.”

There will be Dodgers giveaways and a special edition “I Voted” sticker for those who turn out to vote at Dodger Stadium.

“We are thrilled to continue our partnership with the World Champion Los Angeles Dodgers to highlight the importance of voting and to provide our voters with a unique opportunity to cast their ballot at their iconic stadium,” Dean C. Logan of the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk said.

“The Dodgers organization represents the fabric and history of our communities. It’s partnerships like this that speak to the spirit of participation that is the foundation of our representative form of governing.”

Additional election information can be found at www.lavote.gov.

Dodger Stadium among most visited voting centers in 2020

The Dodgers utilized Dodger Stadium as a polling location for the 2020 Presidential general election and it amounted to record foot traffic as it was the highest performing vote center in the county over a five-day span.

The Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder’s Office additionally specified that Dodger Stadium also ranked third in the county when compared to their Norwalk headquarters and San Dimas City Hall, which were open for 30 and 11 days, respectively.

Chavez Ravine being converted for a civic purpose was a byproduct of David Price and the Dodgers collaborating with LeBron James and his More Than A Vote initiative.
