The 2019 Cactus League season has come and gone as the Los Angeles Dodgers are hosting the Chicago White Sox in the final game of the spring at Camelback Ranch on Saturday afternoon.

As is usually the case, the bulk of the Dodgers’ regulars have already begun heading back to Southern California for the annual exhibition Freeway Series against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim that begins on Sunday. Thus, most of the everyday players are not in the lineup.

Brock Stewart gets the start, as the right-hander looks to state his case for potentially earning the final spot in the bullpen on the Opening Day roster.

Stewart has made two starts this spring, giving up three hits and a run in three innings while striking out one and walking three. He spent much of the 2018 season going back and forth between Triple-A Oklahoma City and the big leagues, and likely will do the same in 2019.

Opposing Stewart for the White Sox is left-handed Manny Bañuelos, who spent the 2018 season in the Dodgers organization with OKC.

Bañuelos has struggled a bit with Chicago this spring, pitching to a 5.14 ERA in five starts. He has 14 strikeouts compared to six walks in 14 innings. He faced the Dodgers on March 14, allowing four hits and three runs (two earned) with five strikeouts and one walk in 3.1 innings.
