It has been two months since Major League Baseball indefinitely suspended operations due to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

While there is optimism a plan may soon be agreed upon for the 2020 season, MLB players are getting more antsy by the day.

During the downtime, some have taken to streaming on Twitch, such as Los Angeles Dodgers rookie Gavin Lux, who participated in the MLB The Show Players League. Lux enjoyed a successful run and advanced to the playoffs, but was defeated by Tampa Bay Rays ace Blake Snell, the eventual champion.

Social media usage in general has spiked as people stay at home to help curb the spread of COVID-19. The Dodgers have hosted three Zoom parties thus far, connecting players to fans as the wait for baseball continues.

Walker Buehler has additionally been more active on Instagram in recent weeks, sharing a myriad of photos of random points in his career.

The right-hander began by posting a selfie he took with former Dodgers teammate Rich Hill during the 2019 season.

Buehler next shared a photo of himself almost colliding with Max Muncy at first base during a game against the Colorado Rockies.

Then on a more serious note, Buehler posted a photo of himself standing next to Clayton Kershaw on MLB Players Weekend last year.

Buehler ended his posting spree with a selfie he took during a recent hunting trip.

Judging by his posts, it is clear Buehler misses his Dodgers teammates and wants to get back on the field as soon as possible.

He especially misses being around the clubhouse, and all of the conversations and jokes that come from interacting with the players and coaching staff.
