The Los Angeles Dodgers set their 2020 Spring Training report dates, with pitchers and catchers due at Camelback Ranch by Thursday, Feb. 13, with their first official workout of camp taking place on Valentine’s Day.

Position players are due in camp within the few days after, and the first full-squad workout will be held Tuesday, Feb. 18. The Dodgers open their Cactus League schedule by facing the San Francisco Giants at Scottsdale Stadium on Saturday, Feb. 22.

Their first game at Camelback Ranch is the following afternoon against the Chicago Cubs. After breaking camp, the Dodgers return to Southern California for a game at Angel Stadium on Sunday, March 22. The three-game series then shifts to Dodger Stadium on March 23 and 24.

Including one contest against the White Sox as the designated road team, the Dodgers are playing 16 Cactus League games at Camelback Ranch. They play at Camelback Ranch on four of six Saturdays during February and March.

L.A. is in split-squad action on Feb. 29 (@ Colorado Rockies; vs. Arizona Diamondbacks), March 6 (@ Giants; vs. Seattle Mariners), March 12 (@ Cubs; vs. Oakland Athletics) and March 20 (@ Los Angeles Angels; vs. Kansas City Royals).

Single-game and Spring Training season tickets are currently available, giving fans an array of options. Single-game tickets start at just $10 per game, and season ticket options include a 30-game plan (entails all contests at Camelback Ranch), and team-specific options for the Dodgers (15 games) or Chicago White Sox (15 games).

When the Dodgers report for Spring Training, they hope it will mark the start of a bit of redemption after a disappointing showing last October. Back-to-back trips to the World Series were followed by a franchise-record 106 wins but first-round playoff exit.

As it stands much of the core roster and coaching staff remains intact. There was some shuffling, as Rick Honeycutt transitioned from pitching coach to a special assistant role in the front office, and he in turn has been succeed by Mark Prior.

Josh Bard returned from the New York Yankees organization to fill Prior’s previously held position of bullpen coach.

Dodgers president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman has regularly given manager Dave Roberts public votes of confidence, and Clayton Kershaw is among the players who is bullish over the team’s outlook.

Nevertheless, the offseason has brought about some disappointment. Gerrit Cole chose to sign with the Yankees over the Dodgers, and Anthony Rendon favored the Angels organization.
