FOCO Selling Shohei Ohtani 30-30 Season & Jack Flaherty Dodgers Debut Bobbleheads

Shohei Ohtani put his name in the record books and Jack Flaherty made his Los Angeles Dodgers debut on Saturday, both of which are being celebrated by FOCO with the release of limited-edition bobbleheads.

Ohtani’s bobblehead is limited to a run of 330 units, and there were 96 made available for purchase of the Flaherty version. Neither will be restocked once quantities sell out.

Ohtani is portrayed in the road Dodgers uniform and set atop a thematic base that includes the team logo and text displays of “30/30 CLUB” and “8-3-2024” to commemorate his achievement.

Ohtani entered Saturday’s game leading the National League with 33 home runs. He swiped three bags in the 10-0 win to give him 31 stolen bases on the season, extending his career high. Ohtani’s previous record was 26 stolen bases with the Los Angeles Angels in the 2021 season.

He’s on pace to finish the season with 40-plus home runs and more than 50 stolen bases. That would give Ohtani the Dodgers’ first 40-40 season.

Flaherty’s first bobblehead with the Dodgers also is in the road uniform and has him posed in a windup. It features “7 STRIKEOUTS” and “DODGERS DEBUT” text displays on the backdrop, along with “8-3-2024” on top of the base to further highlight Flaherty’s first start for the Dodgers.

The right-hander finished with seven strikeouts over six scoreless innings, which included being left in the game to work out of bases-loaded jam.

The Dodgers are hopeful Flaherty can help lead their rotation come October as he was their big acquisition at the trade deadline to fulfill a search for an impact starter.

Dodgers 30-30 seasons

Including Ohtani, three Dodgers players have ever produced a 30-30 season.

Raúl Mondesi was first to do so in 1997, and he repeated the accomplishment in 1999. Matt Kemp then joined the Dodgers’ 30/30 club in 2011, and now Ohtani has accompanied them.
