The newest Ohtani bobblehead portrays him in the home Dodgers uniform while in a batting action pose. The bobblehead includes a “2024 All-MLB FIRST TEAM” text display on the backdrop and Dodgers wordmark name display on top of the base.
Ohtani finished the season batting .310 with a 1.040 on-base plus slugging percentage while becoming the first player in MLB history in the 50-50 club as he finished with 54 home runs and 59 stolen bases.
The All-MLB selection was a fourth in a row for Ohtani, who additionally won the 2024 Edgar Martinez Outstanding Designated Hitter and National League Hank Aaron Award.
“It’s an honor to win an award named after the legendary Hank Aaron,” Ohtani said in a video message that was played during the MLB Awards show in Las Vegas.
“My deep appreciation and gratitude goes out to all the fans and Hall of Famers who voted for me. Your support means everything to me. See you in 2025.”
Ohtani received All-MLB First Team honors as a DH and was named to the Second Team as starting pitcher in 2021, First Team as a pitcher and Second Team in 2022, and First Team in both categories last year.
