FOCO Releases Limited Edition Dodgers World Series Bobblehead Of Kiké Hernandez

FOCO continues to commemorate the Los Angeles Dodgers winning the 2020 World Series through limited releases of bobbleheads, with the latest being a Kiké Hernandez version that went on sale Tuesday morning.

Last week FOCO released Dodgers World Series bobbleheads of Joe Kelly, Tommy Lasorda and Will Smith. The Kelly version is a three-foot bobblehead and remains available for purchase, while the Lasorda and Smith models instantly sold out.

The Hernandez bobblehead is numbered out of 400 and priced at $50. It is expected to ship in August.

Although Hernandez is no longer with the Dodgers, he had a successful six-year career with the team that featured a slew of memorable moments on and off the field.

Hernandez’s defensive versatility provided immense value and flexibility to Dodgers manager Dave Roberts, and his pinch-hit home run against the Atlanta Braves in Game 7 of the National League Championship Series was instrumental in propelling the team to a comeback win and World Series berth.

Hernandez’s solos hot off A.J. Minter tied the game in the bottom of the sixth and set the stage for Cody Bellinger’s game-winning blast the following inning. Of course, it was Hernandez who then inadvertently caused Bellinger’s right shoulder to dislocate during their forearm bump celebration.

A free agent this past offseason for the first time in his career, Hernandez sought a larger role and found it with the Boston Red Sox on a two-year contract. Hernandez and the Red Sox got off to a slow start but then went on a nine-game winning streak. Boston is 3-2 since it was snapped.

Hernandez joins Dodgers in top selling jerseys

The combination of being a World Series champion and moving onto a new team placed Hernandez at No. 9 on the list of best selling jerseys. The rankings were compiled based on Nike jersey sales from MLBShop.com since the conclusion of the 2020 postseason.

Dodgers teammates Mookie Betts and Cody Bellinger appeared at Nos. 1 and 2, respectively, Clayton Kershaw was ranked No. 5 and Corey Seager at 13th.
