2017 World Series: Game 6 Parking And Public Transportation Info, Plus Dodger Stadium Security Details For Halloween

The Los Angeles Dodgers and Houston Astros return to Dodger Stadium on Tuesday night for Game 6 of the World Series, and if necessary, a Game 7 on Wednesday. First pitch for both contests is 5:20 p.m. PT.

Dodger Stadium parking gates and turnstiles will open at 2:00 p.m., which is also the same time the Dodgers will take the field for batting practice. The Astros’ BP session is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m., and pregame programming commences at 5 p.m.

Fans are encouraged to arrive early, purchase parking in advance, carpool or utilize a ride share service. Advance parking can be purchased online at Dodgers.com/postseason ($30 in advance/$50 at the gate).

The Dodger Stadium Express is operating from both Union Station and the South Bay. Service begins three hours before start time and is free for everyone with a game ticket.

Tuesday’s game is the Dodgers’ first time in franchise history playing on Halloween. For the safety and security of all fans in attendance, masks and toy weapons of any kind remain strictly prohibited at Dodger Stadium. More information on security guidelines can be found at Dodgers.com/Security.

The Dodgers will need back-to-back wins if they are to claim their first World Series title since 1988. The Astros are a win away from their first championship in franchise history.

Although the Dodgers are facing elimination heading into Game 6, history lies on their side as the team with home-field advantage.

Of the last 11 teams to return home while trailing in the World Series, nine have forced a Game 7. Out of those nine teams, eight went on to win the Fall Classic.

Overall, there have been 20 teams to overcome a 3-2 deficit in the World Series — 14 of those instances came with a club winning Games 6 and 7 at home.
