The Los Angeles Dodgers released their 2023 holiday card and selected part-owner Billie Jean King as this year’s voice to narrate it.
Dodgers broadcaster Joe Davis held the honor last year and Vin Scully wished fans happy holidays in 2021.
King lent her voice to a video that highlights the new drone shows at Dodger Stadium and featured aerial views of the ballpark.
King mentioned Dodger Stadium being a “home away from home” for so many and the Dodgers looking forward to welcoming fans back for the start of the 2024 season.

While the Dodgers organization and front offices across baseball take a brief break during the holidays, the team already has put together a wildly successful offseason.
It started with signing Shohei Ohtani to a 10-year, $700 million contract, and was followed by trading for Tyler Glasnow and Manuel Margot. Most recently, the Dodgers agreed to terms with Yoshinobu Yamamoto on a 12-year, $325 million contract.
All told, the Dodgers have committed more than $1 billion in salary for Ohtani, Glasnow and Yamamoto. Glasnow was signed to a five-year, $136.5 million contract extension after being traded by the Tampa Bay Rays.
The Dodgers also re-signed Jason Heyward and Joe Kelly to one-year deals, gave a contract extension to Max Muncy, and picked up the option on Blake Treinen, who is expected to be ready for Spring Training.
Looking ahead to 2024, the Dodgers start the season by facing the San Diego Padres in the Korea Series. The games in Seoul are going to represent MLB’s first in South Korea.
The Dodgers’ first game at Dodger Stadium in 2024 is against the St. Louis Cardinals on Thursday, March 28. First pitch for the Dodgers home opener is scheduled for 1:10 p.m. PT.
Dodgers ownership history: Billie Jean King
Billie Jean King and Ilana Kloss joined the Guggenheim Baseball Management group by purchasing a minority stake in the Dodgers in 2018.
King, Dodgers controlling owner Mark Walter and team president and CEO Stan Kasten have since partnered to purchase the Premier Hockey Federation, a women’s league.
