Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig is hosting a Texas Holdem Poker Tournament at Dodger Stadium on Monday, May 22. The event is being organized to benefit Puig’s Wild Horse Foundation, which is a nonprofit organization that strives to aid economically disadvantaged children and families.

Prizes will be provided to top-10 finishers in the poker tournament. The night’s festivities will also include appetizers, dinner, silent and live auctions, and opportunities to interact with Puig and his Dodgers teammates.

Individual and corporate sponsorship and group tickets are currently available for purchase on the foundation’s website. Sponsorships include discounted entries, VIP gift bags, signage/promotional opportunities and Dodgers tickets.

A Wild Horse Sponsorship, priced at $20,000, includes representation as the title sponsor, two tournament tables (16 total guests), meet and greet for 16 guests, Lexus Dugout Club seats and preferred parking pass to a Dodgers home game, and more.

A Grand Slam Sponsorship ($10,000) and RBI Sponsorship ($5,000) are also available. Individual tickets can be purchased for $500, though that does not include participation in the night’s poker tournament. An individual ticket for a seat in the poker tournament, plus the buy-in, is priced at $1,500.

During an appearance at Justin Turner’s second annual Justin Turner Golf Classic, Puig revealed he was in the early stages of planning a similar event. His hope was to build on a coordinated effort between the Wild Horse Foundation and Manny Mota and Mota’s foundation last December, when supplies and more were distributed in the Dominican Republic.
