The Los Angeles Dodgers organization will be well-represented in the 2017 California League All-Star Game, as the High-A Rancho Cucamonga Quakes had six players named to the South Division team. Catcher Will Smith and outfielder Luke Raley will both start.

First baseman Ibandel Isabel, outfielder D.J. Peters, and pitchers Caleb Ferguson and Dennis Santana will represent the Quakes as reserves.

Smith is batting .236/.370/.424 with nine doubles, three triples, seven home runs and 29 RBI in 56 games. Smith has thrown out 53 percent of would-be basestealers, and has also played second and third base. This is his second experience with the Quakes, but first full season.

Raley is hitting .286/.369/.455 with nine doubles, four triples, seven home runs and 22 RBI. He’s added eight stolen bases against just one caught stealing, through 61 games. This season is Raley’s first withh the Quakes.

Isabel has hit .236/.324/.471 through 59 games. He leads the California League with 15 home runs and ranks ninth in slugging.

Also in his first season with the Quakes, Peters is hitting .248/.357/.456 with 11 doubles, three triples, 10 home runs and 35 RBI in 61 games. Peters is 11th on the circuit in RBI total.

Ferguson is 1-4 with a 3.31 ERA and 1.37 WHIP in 12 games (11 starts). He’s collected 50 strikeouts against 29 walks over 51.2 innings pitched.

Santana is 3-4 with a 2.90 ERA and 1.29 WHIP in 11 games (nine starts). The 21-year-old has 52 strikeouts and 15 walks in 49.2 innings.

The Cal League All-Star Game is set for Tuesday, June 20 in Visalia. The matchup between the North and South Divisions marks the first time since 1998 the Cal League has not faced the Carolina League.

The Dodgers organization will also have a presence in the Midwest League All-Star Game, as Brendon Davis, Dustin May and Keibert Ruiz of the Low-A Great Lakes Loons will participate.
