The Los Angeles Dodgers officially announced King’s Hawaiian Grill has replaced the Think Blue BBQ in the left field plaza at Dodger Stadium. News of the change surfaced last week during a luncheon to unveil items on the Dodgers 2017 promotional calendar and this season’s new food options.

The King’s Hawaiian Grill will make its debut on Monday, which is Opening Day for the Dodgers. The menu will incorporate the infamous King’s Hawaiian products, and the surrounding area of the grill includes group tables meant to serve as a gathering point for fans.

Barbecue wings, which were introduced last season at the Think Blue BBQ, return in 2017, though with a bit of a twist, and renamed to Big Island Lava Wings. The bundle includes french fries, celery sticks and carrots.

Also available for order are pulled pork sliders served on the King’s Hawaiian sweet rolls, smoked pork nachos and the Hawaiian BBQ Dodger Dog. It’s made with a King’s Hawaiian hot dog bun and topped with pulled pork and King’s Hawaiian original sweet pineapple BBQ sauce.

The grill will also hold special events with Dodgers legend Steve Garvey throughout the season, providing fans with the opportunity to meet one of the franchises’ celebrated players.

Additional details on more new food options at Dodger Stadium for the 2017 season will follow in the coming days.
