Chris Taylor and his fiancée Mary Keller are continuing their “Driving for Hope” charity tournament with the event this time taking place at Topgolf El Segundo. They previously held one at Topgolf Virginia Beach earlier this year.

The event takes place on January 12, 2023, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. and tickets are still available for purchase. The evening will consist of golf, food, drinks, an auction with memorabilia and a performance by platinum-charting artists Brett Young.

This is also the first time “Driving for Hope,” or any of Taylor’s charity events will be held in Los Angeles, and he can’t wait to host it, the 32-year-old said on “Dodger Talk” with David Vassegh:

“This is going to be our first event in Los Angeles, which I’m really excited about. I’ve been wanting to do something in LA for a while because LA is my home now. I’m so excited to be able to bring our Topgolf event to LA. Hopefully, there’s going to be a lot of Dodgers fans at the event and a lot of my teammates. It should be a lot of fun.”

In addition to Taylor and Young, current and former Los Angeles Dodgers teammates will be at the event, and more guests will be announced at a later date.

All proceeds will benefit Children’s Hospital Los Angeles’ “Children’s Fund,” which supports the hospital’s innovative research programs, helps provide top notch training for its pediatric specialists and sustains family-centered care that is not covered by insurance, as well as helping The CT3 Foundation continue its mission to provide support and fund research for children with cancer and other life-altering conditions, and to uplift the vulnerable in our community.

The CT3 Foundation hosted a golf tournament in 2021 with proceeds benefitting Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters and Roc Solid Foundation in support of the fight against pediatric cancer. He has also organized “Home Run for Hope,” a virtual event that aimed to raise awareness for childhood cancer.

Topgolf Live returns to Dodger Stadium

The Dodgers announced the “Topgolf Live Stadium Tour” is returning to Dodger Stadium for the second consecutive year. Dates for the upcoming event are January 5-8 and January 12-15, 2023.

“We are very excited to once again partner with Topgolf on this unique and fun-filled event,” Dodgers executive vice president and chief marketing officer Lon Rosen said in a statement.

“Last year’s event was a tremendous success as we hosted over 7,000 people over the five-day span, and we can’t wait to welcome Dodger fans and golf fans back during eight days this time to take a shot at hitting a golf ball into the Dodger Stadium outfield.”

Participants will have the chance to hit golf balls to on-field targets at Dodger Stadium that are placed between 60 and 140 yards from tee boxes located throughout the left field loge level.

Toptracer technology will accurately trace the flight path of the golf balls, instantly scoring every shot in an interactive, in-stadium game designed for all skill levels.
