The Los Angeles Dodgers reached the playoffs a fifth consecutive year as National League West champions, and in 2017 did so with the best record in baseball. While MLB postseason coverage is carried on a national level by MLB Network, TBS, Fox Sports 1, and the like, the Dodgers will utilize Facebook Live.

The team will air pre- and postgame coverage on their Facebook page throughout the postseason, beginning with Game 1 of the NLDS against the Arizona Diamondabcks. For both home and road playoff games, Dodger Insider shows will be hosted on Facebook Live, beginning approximately 90 minutes prior to first pitch.

Facebook Live will also broadcast Dodger Insider shows on workout days, with times dependent on the Dodgers’ schedule.

What’s more, the team will also live stream SportsNet LA’s ‘Leadoff LA’ show, Access SportsNet Dodgers, and the network’s exclusive hour-long postgame show.

The combined coverage, featuring Alanna Rizzo, John Hartung, Orel Hershiser, Nomar Garciaparra, Jerry Hairston Jr. and Ned Colletti, will be produced by the Dodgers and SportsNet LA.

MLB also has plans to move to the digital space, as a partnership with YouTube TV will provide fans with an inside look and expanded coverage of the World Series.

Daily postseason schedule on Facebook Live:

Ninety minutes before first pitch: Dodger Insider (note — will begin at 5:30 p.m. prior to Game 1 of the National League Division Series)

Sixty minutes before first pitch: SportsNet LA’s ‘Leadoff LA’ pregame show

Thirty minutes before first pitch: SNLA’s ‘Access SportsNet Dodgers’

Postgame: Access SportsNet Dodgers
