During the 2022 season, the Los Angeles Dodgers celebrated the 60th anniversary of Dodger Stadium with a special logo and new commemorative items on display throughout the ballpark.
The logo was inspired by retro Los Angeles posters and some of the most recognizable features of Dodger Stadium.
The colors were chosen to represent the pastel color palette of the seating at Chavez Ravine, with light blue in an ode to the ocean, aqua for the landscape that surrounds Chavez Ravine, a light orange to represent the sand at beaches, and yellow because of the sunny weather seen in Los Angeles year-round.
The “Three Sisters” palm trees that have been at the stadium for all 60 years are also represented in the center of the logo.

The text font is wide-tracked Futura bold, which is a nod to the gate marquees that are on every level of Dodger Stadium, and the number typeface is inspired by the distance markers on the original outfield wall.
DodgerVision is represented on the logo with its signature hexagon shape and the iconic orange 76 logo, the team’s original sponsor, at the top of the scoreboard. In addition, the iconic pavilion awning made its way into the logo as one of the most recognizable parts of the stadium as they are seen in nearly every home run highlight.
Finally, home plate sits at the bottom of the logo to represent the 60 years the Dodgers have made Dodger Stadium their home.
The 60th anniversary logo was on display at Dodger Stadium throughout the season, along with a mural of Hall of Famer Jackie Robinson, who broke the color barrier 75 years ago when he joined the Dodgers in Brooklyn, on the left and right field sides of the ballpark.
