The Los Angeles Dodgers and Toyo Tires announced a multi-year sponsorship agreement between the team and the Japan-based manufacturer and distributor located in Itami.

As part of the agreement, Toyo Tires will be placed on the media backdrop for player interviews with Shohei Ohtani and Yoshinobu Yamamoto, as well as multiple permanent and digital signage placements around Dodger Stadium, including behind home plate, that will drive exposure to millions of fans.

In addition, Toyo Tires will also present the Ohtani t-shirt giveaway on Sept. 21 at Dodger Stadium.

“Toyo Tires is an industry leader and a great partner for the Dodgers,” Dodgers executive vice president and chief marketing officer Lon Rosen said in a statement.

“We are truly pleased to align with such a highly regarded global brand. Toyo and the Dodgers will each reap numerous benefits from this burgeoning association.”

Established in 1966, Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. represents the innovation, quality, performance and service that Toyo Tires has delivered worldwide for more than 75 years.

The company offers a full line of tires for nearly every vehicle including light trucks, SUVs, crossovers, sports cars, luxury cars, hybrids and electric vehicles, as well as commercial trucks. Many of the tires are built in the United States at their factory in Georgia.

“Toyo Tire Corporation is proud to partner with the Los Angeles Dodgers,” representative director, president & CEO of Toyo Tire Corporation Takashi Shimizu said. “The Dodgers are one of the most popular and respected sports brands in the world, and a premier organization with a rich history.

“We look forward to a rewarding partnership and wish them the best of luck for the upcoming season.”

Dodgers signed sponsorship deal with All Nippon Airways

The Dodgers recently announced a multi-year sponsorship agreement with All Nippon Airways (ANA), a 5-star and Japan’s largest airline. The deal makes All Nippon Airways the official Japanese airline partner of the Dodgers.

The Dodgers plan to feature All Nippon Airways signage behind home plate at Dodger Stadium and at their Camelback Ranch Spring Training home. ANA branding also is going to be added to the outfield wall at Dodger Stadium and on the team’s backdrop that’s used for select interviews during home and road games.

All Nippon Airways additionally is going to serve as the presenting partner of select promotional Dodger Stadium giveaways throughout the contract’s duration.
