The Los Angeles Dodgers are holding the annual FanFest event on Saturday, marking their unofficial kickoff to the 2020 Major League Baseball season.

FanFest is one of the best days of the year for fans as they can interact with and get autographs and pictures from players in addition to a slew of other fun activities at Dodger Stadium.

Additionally, there is always a variety of food options at the stadium, most of which were fan-favorites from the previous season. Dodger Dogs will of course be available, along with BBQ food and a Chick ‘N’ Waffles stand, among other fare.

The smoked turkey leg was a big hit last year during the Dodgers’ series against the New York Yankees in August, so it is not surprising to see that being brought back. Dodger Stadium executive chef Ryan Evans has always done a good job of monitoring what fans do and don’t like, often bringing back popular items throughout the course of the season.

As opposed to previous years, 2020 FanFest will not be taking place on the field and behind center field due to the construction that is currently going on at the stadium. This year all of the action will be in Dodger Stadium parking lots P and N (outside of Top Deck and Right Field Reserve).

The event still begins at 10 a.m. PT and parking remains free, with auto gates A, C & E opening at 9:30 a.m. Considering a number of lots will be closed due to the renovations at Dodger Stadium, fans have been advised to arrive earlier than normal.

While construction has required logistical changes for the annual FanFest event, the team is using that as an opportunity to give fans a VIP experience by touring the site.
