Andy Pages has followed up his breakout 2025 season with another quality campaign this year, and that was reflected in the first 2026 MLB All-Star Game voting update.
Pages is one of four Los Angeles Dodgers players to lead the vote at their respective positions, with the others being Shohei Ohtani, Max Muncy and Freddie Freeman.
“It’s great, it’s great. He’s definitely, as we all know, he’s not a self-promoter at all. He just wants to play baseball,” Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said of Pages. “And so for the fans to recognize that, they’re getting it right, as far as the person, the talent, the performance.
“And so that’s really good to see. Hopefully he can keep playing well, and then solidify that number one spot. That’d be fun to have him in Philly with me.”
Although Pages has been a slump over his past 30 games, representing the National League in the All-Star Game would be a well deserved honor for the 25-year-old.
He has been a true five-tool player and become of the best center fielders in baseball in just his third season.
Even with some recent decline at the plate, Pages has continued to be a truly elite defender at a premier position.
As for All-Star Game balloting, he led all NL outfielders with 800,496 votes at the first update released. Ronald Acuña Jr. of the Braves is in second place (693,472) and the Phillies’ Brandon Marsh (668,191) rounds out the top-3.
The voting is completed over two phases, with the first determining which players will advance to the next round before a starter at each position is decided during Phase 2.
The top vote-getters at every position and top six outfielders from each league will be revealed on MLB Network, beginning at 3 p.m. PT on June 25.
Dave Roberts makes All-Star case for Andy Pages
Roberts has been leading the charge for Pages’ All-Star campaign, expressing how much he believes the third-year player deserves the honor of participating in the Midsummer Classic.
It is especially important to the Dodgers’ skipper because of his belief that Pages was snubbed last season. Muncy and Teoscar Hernández are among Dodgers players who have touted Pages as being deserving of a spot on the NL team as well.
