Andy Pages and Max Muncy have been two of the Los Angeles Dodgers’ most important contributors this season as part of a lineup that features some of the biggest names in baseball.
Pages has excelled on both sides of the ball, leading the Majors with 56 RBI and tying Pete Crow-Armstrong of the Chicago Cubs for the most defensive runs saved (14) among qualified center fielders through 72 games.
Muncy is also in the midst of a strong season as he owns a .902 on-base plus slugging in 67 games — his highest mark since 2018 — while playing solid defense at third base.
“I think they’ve both earned it,” manager Dave Roberts told David Vassegh on Dodger Talk of Pages and Muncy. “We still have a lot of baseball left in the first half, but as we kind of kick off the fan voting for the All-Star Game, I really hope Los Angeles, Dodger fans, and fans all over the country, pitch in and support Max, and Andy, specifically.
“Because Andy lost out last year. Max, I think it’s been a few years since he’s been an All-Star. They’re both having tremendous seasons, and we draw more than anyone, we have the best fanbase, so hopefully that will be reflected in the voting for our guys.”
Roberts previously made his case for Pages to make the 2026 National League All-Star team, opining that he was snubbed of the honor last season.
Roberts doesn’t want to see that happen this year, but conceded it is a possibility due to a crowded outfield ballot. However, the 25-year-old currently leads all NL outfielders with 800,496 votes after the first 2026 MLB All-Star Game voting update.
As for Muncy, he is looking to earn his third career All-Star selection and first since 2021. Like Pages, he is the leading vote-getter at his respective position so far; Muncy leads NL third basemen with 941,218 votes.
Shohei Ohtani (designated hitter) and Freddie Freeman (first base) are other Dodgers leading their respective positions after the first 2026 MLB All-Star Game voting update.
Justin Wrobleski, All-Star?
On the pitching side, Justin Wrobleski has been one of the Dodgers’ most reliable starters after becoming a regular part of their rotation. He is tied with Yoshinobu Yamamoto for the team lead with seven wins, and his 2.1 WAR ranks second behind Ohtani’s 2.7 mark as a pitcher.
“I think Yamamoto will certainly be in the conversation,” Roberts said of potential Dodgers pitchers who might make the NL All-Star team. “And I think Wrobo, you can’t argue the numbers and the performance. If he continues to do what he’s doing, I hope he gets some consideration.”
While position players are selected via fan voting, pitchers receive election through player and coach ballots.
