The Los Angeles Dodgers are holding their annual community service week, deemed the Dodgers Love L.A. Community Tour, with this year’s event focused on wildfire recovery efforts across Southern California.
The Dodgers previously partnered with other local professional sports teams to pledge a donation of more than $8 million, and they hosted a special event at Dodger Stadium to distribute clothing, shoes, hygiene kits and more necessities to impacted families.
The 2025 Dodgers Love L.A. Community Tour includes visits to the Pacific Palisades, Pasadena and Altadena, all of which had areas destructed by devastating wildfires.
“Every year we are fortunate to partner with Bank of America to host our annual Dodgers Love L.A. Community Tour,” Dodgers vice president of government and community affairs Kristin McCowan said in a statement.
“2025 got off to a difficult start, however the days and weeks since January 7th have shown us all the importance of community and the overwhelming generosity of our neighbors. This tour will focus on service, hope and joy and will strive to show Angelenos just how much we truly love Los Angeles.
“We owe everything to our fans and this community and we look forward to a week of `gratitude as we give back and uplift those that need it most.”
Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation personnel, front office members, Spanish radio broadcaster Luis Cruz and current players are among those who are scheduled to participate in the community tour.
One stop involving fans will be a visit to Jack in the Box, with the location to be revealed at a later time.
Following the week of giving back, DodgerFest is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 1, in the Dodger Stadium parking lots. DodgerFest tickets are now on sale, priced at $20, and parking must be purchased for $10.
