Justin and Kourtney Turner, along with Clayton and Ellen Kershaw have been instrumental in representing the Los Angeles Dodgers at the Dream Center by assisting the local organization on a yearly basis.
And this week the non-profit was the beneficiary of a $10,000 donation from the Bellinger Family Foundation, which in partnership with Jack’s House, helps fight homelessness in L.A. and Phoenix.
The Bellinger Family Foundation and Jack’s House announced their partnership with the Dream Center this past February.
Jennifer Bellinger represented the family at the Dream Center to make the generous donation. Along with providing housing on their campus that sits a few miles from Dodger Stadium, the Dream Center has been distributing Christmas trees to underserved families.
That was driven by support from the Justin Turner Foundation and AM 570 L.A. Sports Radio organizing a Season of Giving initiative to generate donations from listeners.
Those wishing to support AM 570 and the Justin Turner Foundation can make donations at dreamcenter.org/donatenow.
Bellinger optimistic for Spring Training
Prior to the Dodgers’ season coming to an end in the National League Championship Series, Cody Bellinger voiced optimism with his continued recovery from shoulder surgery and was confident he would be back to full health — and strength — by the start of 2022 Spring Training.
Bellinger struggled throughout this past season but had what Turner called one of the greatest turnarounds for the playoffs.
