The Los Angeles Dodgers were able to avoid being swept by the Pittsburgh Pirates Monday afternoon by overcoming a 4-0 deficit to earn a 5-4 victory. Los Angeles now arrives in Milwaukee to face the Brewers in a three-game series.

It begins with Julio Urias making what may not be a final start after all, particularly in light of the uncertainty surrounding Clayton Kershaw. After two rough starts to start his career, Urias has given up five runs in 19.1 innings while striking out 28 in his last four outings.

Overall he is 0-2 with a 4.33 ERA, 3.48 FIP and 1.48 WHIP in six starts to go along with 35 strikeouts and nine walks. His best start came on June 17 at Dodger Stadium against the Brewers, when he tossed five shutout innings while striking out eight and giving up five hits.

Urias is opposed by right-hander Chase Anderson. The 28 year old is 4-7 with a 5.13 ERA, 5.36 FIP and 1.28 WHIP in 14 starts this season. He has struck out 60 while walking 21 in 73.2 innings. He faced the Dodgers on June 18 and got roughed up, allowing seven runs on six hits in just 2.1 innings of a losing effort.

Anderson is 1-2 with a 5.05 ERA in seven starts against the Dodgers in his career. Both Yasmani Grandal and Adrian Gonzalez have had success off Anderson in their careers, and coincidentally they return to the lineup.

Grandal is 3-for-11 with three home runs and six RBIs when facing Anderson, while Gonzalez is 6-for-13 with a homer. Recent acquisition Chris Taylor makes his second consecutive start for the Dodgers, as he plays third and bats eighth. He went 1-for-4 with a run scored in his debut on Monday.

Former National League MVP Ryan Braun went 2-for-2 off of Urias in their last meeting. Braun is having another fine season, batting .324/.382/.542 with 12 home runs and 38 RBIs for the Brewers.
