The Los Angeles Dodgers completed the Cactus League portion of their spring schedule on Wednesday afternoon in a loss to the Cleveland Indians at Camelback Ranch, and now begin a three-game exhibition Freeway Series against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.
The crosstown rivals will play at Dodger Stadium on Thursday and Friday, then conclude the series in Anaheim on Sunday. Prior to Friday’s game, the AM 570 LA Sports Radio Petros and Money show will broadcast live (3:00-6:00 p.m.) from Philippe The Original in downtown Los Angeles.
Their three-hour show will also be streamed online. This marks the duo’s second visit to the restaurant, and they are giving away a free pair of tickets to Friday night’s Freeway Series game.
For those who are unable to attend Friday’s event at Philippe’s, the restaurant is planning to be a hub for Opening Day at Dodger Stadium on Tuesday, April 12 when the Dodgers host the Arizona Diamondbacks.
First pitch is scheduled for 1:10 p.m., though the restaurant will open its doors at 6:00 a.m. Opening Day festivities at Philippe’s, which includes the opportunity to enter a raffle for tickets to a future Dodgers game, begin at 9:30 a.m.
Philippe’s is open daily until 10 p.m., with beef, lamb, pork, turkey, ham and pastrami sandwiches available for order. Its proximity to Dodger Stadium makes the historic restaurant a fan favorite before and after games.
Philippe The Original is located at 1001 N. Alameda St., Los Angeles, Calif. 90012. They can be followed on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for additional information.
