With the Los Angeles Dodgers hosting the 2022 MLB All-Star Game at Dodger Stadium on Tuesday, July 19, Woodbridge Wines released commemorative bottles for fans to enjoy.
As the official wine partner of Major League Baseball, Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi Wines is offering their Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay in commemorative bottles that feature the Dodgers’ trademark logo.
Both 1.5L bottles of wine were made available for purchase Monday at local retailers where Woodbridge is sold.
The Boston Red Sox and Houston Astros were previously selected for commemorative Woodbridge wine bottles as well. In March 2020, MLB announced a multi-year partnership with Robert Mondavi Wines.
It brought forth plans for Woodbridge Wines to develop partnerships with the New York Yankees, Dodgers, Red Sox, Astros and Cincinnati Reds.
“The Los Angeles Dodgers are one of the most storied franchises in sports and we’re thrilled that Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi is now the Official Wine of the team,” Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi Wines vice president of marketing Jaymie Schoenberg said at the time.
“As two iconic brands with deep roots in California, we see this partnership as a tremendous fit and look forward to a successful future together sharing the award-winning quality and exceptional value of Woodbridge Wines with baseball fans.”
Dodgers All-Stars
Mookie Betts and Trea Turner were voted into the National League lineup by fans, and Tony Gonsolin and Clayton Kershaw were named Dodgers All-Stars as well once reserves and pitchers were announced.
Manager Dave Roberts hoped to have seven Dodgers All-Stars, presumably expecting Freddie Freeman, Will Smith and Julio Urías would be selected as well.
