Watch: Highlights From Dodgers Holiday Festival At Dodger Stadium

A portion of the Dodger Stadium parking lot has been transformed into a Los Angeles Dodgers Holiday Festival that fans can visit through Christmas Eve. The exhibit opened last week and welcomed Mookie Betts and his family among the first attendees.

Upon entering Dodger Stadium through Downtown Gate E (right field pavilion) on Stadium Way, fans are greeted by a large screen that replays Dodgers highlights from their World Series run. After driving through the queue, a passage is lined on both sides with screens that display holiday-themed messaging mixed with more memorable moments from the postseason.

As cars navigate the drive-thru experience, holiday music is played throughout and there are lighting displays, fake snow, Dodgers elves, team mascots and an appearance by Santa. A custom Dodgers firetruck is also part of the exhibit, as well as the famed oversized World Series rings that typically are stationed throughout Dodger Stadium.

Of course, the franchise’s first World Series title since 1988 is celebrated with a “World Champions” sign and statue of a replica trophy. The drive-thru takes roughly 30 minutes to complete, and fans are asked to remain in their car for the duration.

There is not access to public restrooms or Dodger Stadium, and a face covering must be worn if a car window is rolled down.

As part of the Holiday Festival, the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation (LADF) is coordinating contactless donations of new/gently used baseball or softball equipment to benefit Dodgers RBI, new toys to be donated to RaiseAChild and new pairs of socks which will be given to L.A. Family Housing.

Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation honored

Despite various challenges and limitations brought on by the pandemic this year, the LADF has continued to give back to the community. The Dodgers’ official charity was recognized for their work and named a recipient of Beyond Sport’s 2020 Sport for Reduced Racial Inequalities Collective Impact Award.
