While the Los Angeles Dodgers share friendly relationships with several other professional sports teams in the city, they tend to mesh well with the Lakers and L.A. Kings. Both teams annually have a respective night at Dodger Stadium as part of the Dodgers’ promotional calendar.
During the summer months it’s not uncommon to find Jeff Carter, Alec Martinez, Tyler Toffoli and others holding batting practice at Chavez Ravine. The hitting sessions have drawn a crowd consisted of Justin Turner and others on the Dodgers roster and coaching staff.
On Saturday, the Kings hosted Dodgers Night at Staples Center for their game with the Arizona Coyotes. All fans in attendance received a co-branded drawstring backpack giveaway.
Additionally, the Kings wore special Dodgers-themed jerseys for their warm-ups. And before the game began, Kiké Hernandez threw, er, dropped, the first puck, which the team shared on Twitter:

The Kings skated to a relatively easy 6-0 victory over the Coyotes, bouncing back from a game in which they were shut out by Nashville. Whether Dodgers Night had anything to do with it can be debated.
The warm-up jerseys the Kings players wore and signed, which featured the Dodgers signature script on the front, are currently up for auction here. Even with their victory, L.A. currently remains outside of the playoff picture as a potential Wild Card team.
