UNDEFEATED Releasing Converse L.A. Dodgers Chuck 70 And Hat

Following up on their recent launch that celebrated the Brooklyn Dodgers, Converse and UNDEFEATED now are paying homage to the franchise being in Los Angeles with a release Saturday morning.

UNDEFEATED and Major League Baseball partnered with Converse to elevate the iconic Chuck Taylor shoe with Dodgers’ detailing. Yoshinobu Yamamoto is featured in the marketing campaign.

Converse x UNDEFEATED x Dodgers collaboration is bringing a new level of storytelling to the Chuck 70 grounded in craft, living history, and home-team pride.

L.A. Dodgers Chuck 70 details

The Converse x UNDEFEATED x LA Dodgers Chuck 70 releases Saturday, April 25, for $110 at UNDEFEATED Silver Lake, New York, Phoenix, Las Vegas and on Undefeated.com. The limited edition shoe then will be available via Converse.com, MLB.com, MLB Flagship Store (NYC), and Dodgers team store on Monday.

That’s being followed by a release via the Nike SNKRS app on Tuesday morning.

The latest drop in the collection arrives with a Navy upper featuring faux ostrich leather, complete with an embroidered LA logo on the lateral side, rubber badge with UNDEFEATED branding, and inverted Dodgers × UNDEFEATED tongue artwork designed to read correctly when folded.

Custom Converse × UNDEFEATED × Dodgers license plates at the heel and team embroidery on the tongue finish the look.

The shoe is limited to 6734 pairs, with 67 paying tribute to Vin Scully’s tenure as the voice of the Dodgers and 34 an ode to Fernando Valenzuela.

Also releasing alongside the LA Dodgers Chuck 70 is a New Era cap. It features the Dodgers’ iconic logo and UNDEFEATED wordmark. Each hat is completed with a red UNDEFEATED five-strike on the right hand side and New Era flag on the left. The special edition Dodgers hat is offered in 59FIFTY fitted and an unstructured 19TWENTY snapback versions.

Dodgers watch party

To further celebrate the Chuck Taylor releases, Converse and UNDEFEATED held a Dodgers watch party at Homage Brewing this past Tuesday.

The event brought together hundreds of fans, who received a custom t-shirt and were entered into a raffle to win a pair of the shoes.
