The 2025 NBA Finals begin on Thursday night with both the Indiana Pacers and Oklahoma City Thunder looking to capture their first championship.

The Thunder finished with the best record in the NBA at 68-14 and thus secured home-court advantage throughout the entire playoffs. The Pacers went 50-32 and earned the No. 4 seed in the Eastern Conference.

Oklahoma City reached the Finals by eliminating the Memphis Grizzlies, Denver Nuggets and Memphis Grizzlies. Indiana’s path to playing for a championship started by defeating the Milwaukee Bucks before upsetting the Boston Celtics and New York Knicks.

Amid plenty of excitement throughout Oklahoma with the Thunder playing in the NBA Finals for the first time, the Tulsa Drillers are becoming involved by welcoming fans to ONEOK Field.

The Drillers announced they are hosting NBA Finals watch parties for Games 2 and 3 on Sunday and Wednesday, respectively. The games will be shown on ONEOK’s 2,176″ LED videoboard, which is the biggest in Tulsa.

Game 2 of the NBA Finals is due to tipoff four hours after the Drillers begin their series finale against the Amarillo Sod Poodles (Arizona Diamondbacks’ Double-A affiliate). Tulsa then begins a road trip against the Springfield Cardinals.

Attendees can access free parking surrounding the ballpark and OSU Tulsa Campus, and are asked to enter the Tulsa World first base entrance at the corner of Elgin Ave. and Reconciliation Way.

ONEOK Field concessions stands will be selling $3 hot dogs and $4 domestic beer specials (16 ounces), and some locations will have additional food and beverage offerings.

The Drillers are not permitting outside food or beverages for their NBA Finals watch parties. Fans and bags will go through security screening prior to entering ONEOK Field.
