With the Seoul Series just over a week away, the Los Angeles Dodgers face San Francisco Giants at Camelback Ranch in their penultimate Cactus League game.
When the longtime rivals met at Scottsdale Stadium last week, they only managed to complete two innings before the game was canceled due to rain.
After Tuesday, the Dodgers and Giants will next face off in a three-game series at Dodger Stadium from April 1-3.
Tyler Glasnow makes his final tuneup before taking the mound against the San Diego Padres on Opening Day in South Korea. The right-hander said he is honored to have the opportunity to start for his hometown team in such a historic game.
Glasnow, who was acquired from the Tampa Bay Rays this past December, will become the first pitcher to start for the Dodgers on Opening Day in his first season with the team since Derek Lowe in 2005.
Glasnow has impressed during Cactus League play, posting a 1.93 ERA and 1.29 WHIP with six strikeouts against two walks in 4.2 innings of work (two starts). Glasnow pitched in a “B” game on one of the backfields at Camelback Ranch his last time out.
Ryan Brasier, Daniel Hudson, Kyle Hurt, Evan Phillips and T.J. McFarland are scheduled to pitch for the Dodgers as well.
The Giants counter with Blayne Enlow, who is making his third appearance of the spring. He enters with a 6.75 ERA and 2.00 WHIP in 11 innings pitched.
Miguel Rojas is back in the Dodgers lineup for the first time since being scratched on Sunday due to lower leg soreness. Shohei Ohtani is also in the lineup, playing the frontend of what’s expected to be back-to-back starts for only the second time this spring.
