Looking to snap a two-game losing streak, the Los Angeles Dodgers return to Camelback Ranch for a matchup against the Chicago White Sox. L.A. will serve as the designated home team against their co-tenant.

Julio Urias makes his second start of 2021 Spring Training and looks for better results. In his debut against the Cincinnati Reds last week, he struggled with command and could not put batters away.

Urias recorded just two outs and threw 27 pitches in his outing. He allowed one run on two hits and walked a batter.

“Just to be me. Focus on what I can do, focus on the things I can get better at,” Urias said when asked if he is trying to replicate his performance from the 2020 postseason.

“Whether it’s a starter or reliever, just focus on the things that I can keep my focus on and try to do the best I can when I get a chance to pitch.”

Urias is expected to be followed by David Price, who will be making his 2021 debut. The Dodgers have been cautious with the southpaw, but not because he is dealing with an injury.

“As I look out, with Julio and Jimmy, he’ll be out there some time next week. I expect him to make his Cactus League debut [this] week,” Roberts said over the weekend.

Price appeared in two games last spring prior to the MLB shutdown. He had seven strikeouts over three scoreless innings in what wound up being his final start of any kind for the year.

The White Sox counter with Mike Wright Jr., who makes his third appearance of the spring. In two outings thus far, he has pitched to a 9.00 ERA and 1.67 WHIP with two strikeouts over three innings of work.

The top half of the Dodgers’ lineup features regulars Mookie Betts, Corey Seager, Justin Turner and AJ Pollock. While there is still some staggering, more position players are beginning to appear in games on back-to-back days.
