The Los Angeles Dodgers begin their title defense Thursday with a matchup against the Colorado Rockies that will be among the 150-plus games SportsNet LA televises live throughout the 2021 season.
The Dodgers’ exclusive network will have comprehensive coverage for Opening Day, and after their postgame show, are airing a special 90-minute “Dodgermentary” that takes fans back through the 2020 season that ended with a thrilling World Series championship.
“This is Our Year: The 2020 World Champion Dodgers” reveals behind-the-scenes moments, interviews, and rare access with players, coaches and management. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts, Clayton Kershaw, Mookie Betts, Corey Seager, Cody Bellinger and Justin Turner, are among those to appear.
The special revisits every pivotal moment of the championship season, including the trade for Betts, the MLB shutdown during Spring Training due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Dodgers capturing an eighth consecutive National League West title, and the team’s postseason run in the playoff bubble.
