Dodgers Games Streaming Through Spectrum Service For 2024 Season

Watching the Los Angeles Dodgers has been locked behind Spectrum SportsNet LA as a paid add-on to TV service for nearly the past decade, but that is changing for the 2024 season.

Spectrum announced a new streaming option to watch Dodgers games without the need for a pay-TV cable service. The cost to stream games is free, as long as fans have Spectrum internet and mobile telephone services.

The service launched on Wednesday, just in time for the Dodgers’ season opener against the San Diego Padres in the Seoul Series.

There is currently a promotional price through Spectrum for internet and mobile service of $49.99 per month, which includes the ability to stream Dodgers games in the Los Angeles market.

The agreement only covers the 2024 season, giving the service provider the chance to test how well it works.

SportsNet LA is also still available to those who are just TV subscribers through Spectrum or other providers, and that is unlikely to change anytime soon as they look to continue increasing access to the service.

For fans outside the Los Angeles television market, MLB.TV is still the best way to stream Dodgers games.

Dodgers join Lakers on Spectrum streaming

Late last year, Spectrum SportsNet and the Los Angeles Lakers announced the launch of Spectrum SportsNet+, which delivers the team’s games and network’s programming via a direct-to-consumer streaming subscription service.

Spectrum SportsNet+ is available to customers residing inside the Lakers’ local broadcast territory, which is comprised of Southern California, Hawaii and parts of Southern Nevada.

Spectrum SportsNet+ can be streamed across a wide range of devices including iPhone, iPad, Apple TV+, Roku, Android mobile, Android TV, Amazon Fire, Hisense, PlayStation and Xbox. It can be accessed via the NBA’s app and their official website.

Fans can purchase Spectrum SportsNet+ for $19.99 per month or $179.99 per season. Existing Spectrum, DIRECTV and Cox customers who have access to Spectrum SportsNet programming are still able to watch via the Spectrum SportsNet app at no additional cost, and with authenticated access to streaming service.
