The Los Angeles Dodgers have a rich history of players inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame. In the upcoming voting class, a handful of returning names are joined by a trio of newcomers led by Russell Martin, Hanley Ramírez and Curtis Granderson.

In 2022 when the Veterans Committee voted in Gil Hodges, he became the 15th inducted player or manager to wear a Dodgers cap on his Hall of Fame plaque. The total currently stands at 57 former Dodgers players or managers inducted. The list includes anyone to appear in a game or manage the team.

Most recently was Adrian Beltré getting inducted into Cooperstown as part of the 2024 class.

After starting his career with the Dodgers, Beltré eventually found a home with the Texas Rangers and is donning their cap on his Hall of Fame plaque.

Meanwhile, Martin played 14 seasons at the big league level with the Dodgers, Toronto Blue Jays, New York Yankees and Pittsburgh Pirates. Martin began and finished his career with the Dodgers. He spent a total if six years in Los Angeles, where Martin posted his best seasons.

In 1,693 career games, Martin hit .248/.349/.397 with 255 doubles, 191 home runs, 771 RBI and 101 stolen bases. According to fWAR, Martin ranks 11th all-time because of his immense defensive prowess.

Batting .289/.360/.486 over the course of a 15-year Major League career, Ramirez played for the Florida Marlins, Boston Red Sox, Dodgers and Cleveland.

In his time with the Dodgers, Ramirez held an .874 on-base plus slugging percentage over 278 games.

Granderson is the last of former Dodgers who is also a newcomer for the 2025 class. The 16-year veteran played for seven teams, including the 2017 Dodgers, who went to the World Series.

Playing in 2,057 career games, Granderson batted .249/.337/.465 with 349 doubles, 95 triples, 344 home runs, 937 RBI and 1,217 runs scored. In 2007, he became the sixth player in MLB history with at least 20 doubles, 20 triples and 20 home runs in the same season.

More former Dodgers on 2025 Baseball Hall of Fame ballot

Other former Dodgers of the 2025 Hall of Fame Ballot include Bobby Abreu, Andruw Jones, Manny Ramírez, Jimmy Rollins and Chase Utley.

For candidates to meet criteria for induction, they must be named on 75% of ballots cast by selected Baseball Writers’ Association of America members with 10 or more consecutive years of MLB coverage to gain election and be part of Induction Weekend July 25-28, 2025, in Cooperstown, N.Y.

Players may remain on the Hall of Fame ballot for up to 10 years provided they receive at least five percent of the vote.
