The sites of future All-Star Games are known for the next two years but MLB has yet to officially announce plans beyond 2026.
Teams hosting future MLB All-Star Games
2025: Braves, Truist Park
Commissioner Rob Manfred announced on Nov. 17, 2023, that the Braves would host the 2025 MLB All-Star Game at Truist Park.
The Braves previously hosted the All-Star Game in 1972 at Atlanta Stadium, and again in 2000 at Turner Field. The Braves were awarded the 2021 All-Star Game at Truist Park but MLB moved it to Coors Field in response to concerns over a Georgia voting law disproportionately impacting minorities.
Manfred recently said he believes the best course of action for MLB is to not become involved in politics.
The Braves franchise previously hosted the All-Star Game in Boston in 1936, and in Milwaukee in 1955 before moving to Atlanta for the 1966 season.
The 2025 All-Star Game in Atlanta has been scheduled for Tuesday, July 15.
2026: Phillies, Citizens Bank Park
Back on April 16, 2019, Manfred announced the Philadelphia Phillies would host the 2026 MLB All-Star Game at Citizens Bank Park.
The Phillies were awarded the 96th Midsummer Classic well in advance due to 2026 marking the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
“It was a really easy sell to baseball to host the game here in Philadelphia,” Phillies managing partner John Middleton said at the time. “It’s the logical place.”
All-Star Game history in the city of Philadelphia includes hosting in 1943, 1952, 1976 and 1996. The Philadelphia Athletics were hosts in 1943, and the Phillies had the honor in 1952, 1976 and 1996.
The games in 1943 and 1952 were played at Shibe Park, and Veterans Stadium was the site in 1976 and 1996.
In 1943 it represented the first MLB All-Star Game played at night. Then in 1952, the only rain-shortened All-Star Game was played.
The 1976 MLB All-Star Game was scheduled in conjunction with the country’s bicentennial celebration.
The 2025 All-Star Game is going to be the first played at Citizens Bank Park, which opened in 2004.
2027, 2028 & 2029 All-Star Games
Locations for MLB All-Star Games in 2027, 2028 and 2029 have not yet been set. However, comments by Manfred and reports suggest the Toronto Blue Jays, Chicago Cubs and Baltimore Orioles are due to host in that order.
Manfred’s final two All-Star Games as MLB commissioner are expected to be 2027 and 2028.
