The Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the Cincinnati Reds to take the four-game series and clinch the National League West division title.
With the win, the Dodgers finished their season winning six of their seven games against the Reds. They have won 11 of their last 13 regular season contests against Cincinnati and have now won four straight series versus the Reds.
The Dodgers also won their 31st series win (31-15-3) of the year. The Dodgers are now 46-32 on the road this season with three games left away from home. That mark is tops in the NL and tied with the Yankees for the best in baseball.
The National League West division title is the Dodgers’ 13th in the last 14 seasons, and they have made the playoffs each year in that time. This is the fourth-earliest division-clinching date on the calendar. L.A. clinched the West on Sept. 10 in 2019, Sept. 13 in 2022 and Sept. 16 in 2023.

Kyle Tucker leads offensive charge
Kyle Tucker continued his hot hitting with a four-hit day that saw him finish a triple shy of the cycle. Instead, he settled for two doubles, a home run and a single.
Freddie Freeman and Max Muncy also had multi-hit days, with each of them recording two hits.
Tucker started the scoring by hitting a two-run homer in the first inning after a walk from Freeman. He extended their lead to 4-0 in the second inning with his first double of the day, which came after a sacrifice fly from Freeman that put the Dodgers up by three.
In the fourth, Muncy doubled home two more runs, scoring Freeman and Tucker, who both reached on singles. Their seventh run came when Josue De Paula singled home Teoscar Hernández.
The Dodgers added one more run for good measure in the ninth inning when Miguel Rojas slugged a solo home run.
Justin Wrobleski & Landon Knack carry bullpen game
Justin Wrobleski started the game by throwing three perfect innings with three strikeouts before exiting the game. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said before the game that three innings was the maximum amount Wrobleski was built up for.
Blake Treinen pitched the fourth and allowed a solo home run to Sal Stewart, which was the only run the pitching staff allowed on the day. He completed his lone inning with a pair of strikeouts as well.
After that, Landon Knack took over in the fifth inning. He was recalled earlier in the day to provide length for their bullpen game after the injury to Blake Snell on Wednesday forced the bullpen to eat seven innings.
Knack did exactly what the Dodgers needed, throwing four shutout innings while allowing just four hits. He also struck out two.
Seth Halvorsen pitched the final inning of the game, securing the victory and the NL West crown despite allowing two hits and a run.
