Winners of five straight, the Los Angeles Dodgers look to keep things rolling against the San Francisco Giants on Saturday afternoon. The Dodgers currently boast a record of 104-56 and are one win away from breaking the L.A. franchise record.

Hyun-Jin Ryu makes the start as he looks to close out his outstanding season on a high note. In 28 starts, Ryu is 13-5 with a 2.41 ERA, 3.18 FIP and 1.02 WHIP with 156 strikeouts and 24 walks in 175.2 innings.

Ryu is a career 6-6 with a 2.79 ERA and 1.15 WHIP in 17 starts against the Giants. He has faced them twice this season and posted a 1.80 ERA in 0.67 WHIP in 15 innings pitched.

The Giants counter with rookie Logan Webb, who is making just his eighth career start and first against the Dodgers. The right-hander is 2-2 with a 5.61 ERA, 4.11 FIP and 1.52 WHIP with 32 strikeouts and 13 walks in 33.2 innings to start his big league career.

Additionally, the 22-year-old pitched in 12 games (10 starts) across four levels in the Minor Leagues this season, yielding a 1.85 ERA and 1.15 WHIP with 69 strikeouts and 15 walks in 63.1 innings.

The Dodgers will be without two of their regulars in this one as Justin Turner and A.J. Pollock are both dealing with minor injuries. This is Turner’s fourth straight game out of the lineup due to a back issue.

He has also been dealing with an ankle problem although he has maintained all along that he would be able to play if these were postseason games.

Pollock was hit by a pitch during Friday’s win over the Giants and was forced to be removed from the game due to a left knee contusion. He is expected to be back in the lineup on Sunday though so luckily, he avoided any serious injury.

Cody Bellinger is in the lineup as he looks to put the finishing touches on a potential MVP season. He is batting .303/.405/.628 with 47 home runs, 120 runs scored and 115 RBI in 154 games.
