The Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the New York Yankees to win their eighth World Series title in franchise history, leading to numerous celebrations for the organization and city.
The Dodgers most notably held their first World Series parade since 1988, which was just as meaningful for the players as it was to the fans in attendance.
The celebrations have continued into the offseason, with several players being honored at NFL games and others making guest appearances at fast food chains such as Raising Cane’s.
The Dodgers also offered fans a unique opportunity to take a photo with the 2024 World Series trophy at Dodger Stadium. The 45-minute experience was initially offered on Dec. 7, 8, 14 and 15.
Due to overwhelming interest, the team is providing additional opportunities for fans to take a photo with the 2024 World Series trophy: Jan. 4, 5, 11 and 12, 2025.
As Dodgers fans get an opportunity to take photos with the 2024 World Series trophy, manager Dave Roberts and multiple players have started to look ahead and pursue becoming back-to-back champions.
MLB has not had a repeat champion since the Yankees won three World Series in a row from 1998-2000.
