The ninth annual Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation Run is being held Saturday in the form of a special “sunset edition” that begins at Dodger Stadium.
In-person and virtual registration options remain available. All proceeds from the event benefit the Dodgers Foundation in aiding their mission to improve education, health care, homelessness, youth development, and social justice for all Angelenos.
“We are grateful to our Dodger fans for their continued support in helping us address our city’s most pressing problems,” LADF CEO Nichol Whiteman said in a statement.
“Together, we can effectively change the lives of Angelenos across the city. By simply registering, participants are aiding us in leveling the playing field and investing in solutions driven by the youth and communities we serve.”
The Sunset Run features a 5K, 10K and Kids Fun Run that each can be completed within Dodger Stadium. This year’s run also includes a cooldown lap, Health + Wellness Expo, appearances by former Dodgers, and live music and DJs playing throughout courses.
The LADF also arranged for 3,000 youth to participate at no cost on behalf of team partner WSS.
All registered runners receive a Dodgers ‘22 tech shirt, finisher’s medal, race bib, access to the Health + Wellness Expo, and a limited-edition Mookie Betts bobblehead. Fittingly, the bobblehead depicts Betts participating in the run.
All runners who show their race bib will receive a 20% discount off select merchandise at the Dodger Stadium store during race weekend.
