Opening Day of the 2018 season is less than one week away for all 30 MLB teams. For the Los Angeles Dodgers, it means a matchup with their division-rival San Francisco Giants at Dodger Stadium in the opener of a four-game series.
The Dodgers go into the season with plenty of motivation, as they came just one win short of a World Series last year, losing to the Houston Astros in a heart-breaking Game 7.
With their core nucleus returning in 2018, the Dodgers are considered the favorites by many to win another National League West title and advance to the Fall Classic for a second consecutive season.
But there’s still a long season to be played before that becomes a possibility or reality, and to get ready for Opening Day, MLB released a video that features Dodgers’ Cody Bellinger, Kiké Hernandez and Joc Pederson also making appearances:

In addition to the excitement of the season beginning, the Dodgers-Giants matchup has further intrigue as ace Clayton Kershaw and Madison Bumgarner square off.
For Kershaw, it will be his franchise-record eighth straight start on Opening Day. He’s been dominant as ever in season openers, going 5-0 with a 0.99 ERA in the previous seven.
If this video doesn’t get you ready for Opening Day, then the one Kingsford Charcoal recently released, featuring retired Dodgers broadcaster Vin Scully should do the trick.
