Max Muncy & Chris Taylor Among Dodgers Participating In 7th Annual Justin Turner Golf Classic

For a final event in Los Angeles before joining the Boston Red Sox in Spring Training, Justin Turner and his wife Kourtney are hosting the seventh annual Justin Turner Golf Classic at Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, California, on Monday.

The couple’s signature event has become a draw for current and former Dodgers teammates, celebrities and other professional athletes alike. Max Muncy, Chris Taylor, Evan Phillips, Tony Gonsolin, Nomar Garciaparra, Fernando Valenzuela and Jerry Hairston Jr. are among those scheduled to play.

So too are Corey Seager, Joe Kelly and Albert Pujols.

“We cannot wait to host our Golf Classic for the seventh time,” Turner said in a statement. “It is truly one of my favorite days of the year. Everyone comes together for an incredible day benefitting our community and the causes that are so near and dear to our hearts. It means so much to have the support of our sponsors, fellow athletes, donors and volunteers.”

Kourtney added: “We are thrilled to be hosting our seventh annual JT Golf Classic. We are overwhelmed with the support from our sponsors, participants and volunteers. It takes a village to make the foundation successful and we are so proud of the community we’ve built that allows us to impact so many. We’re grateful to kick off the year with what promises to be our greatest fundraiser yet.”

Golfers will receive a VIP gift bag featuring an Adidas duffel bag, pair of Adidas golf cleats and cap, JTF Baseballism cap, Mizzen + Main golf polo, Bushnell Wingman GPS Golf Speaker, Casetify AirTag Keychain, air up scent-flavored hydration system, Banza product, TPK Golf putting stick, Ripple protein shake, VeeFriends t-shirt and ledger, Seamus Golf bag tag, ASHOC energy drink, Oars+Alps sunscreen Sun Air Jets swag, JTF golf towel and more.

The Justin Turner Golf Classic is sold out, but a limited number of tickets remain available for the private kickoff party on Sunday night.

All proceeds from the dinner and Golf Classic benefit the Justin Turner Foundation, which plans to continue their work in the Los Angeles community despite its namesake signing with the Red Sox in free agency.

Justin Turner grateful for Dodgers career

Turner openly stated his desire was to re-sign with the Dodgers, and rather than voice any frustration or disappointment with how free agency unfolded, he’s chosen to fondly remember the past nine seasons.

“It was absolutely an incredible ride I was on. I’m so grateful for so many people that took us in and made us feel part of the Dodger family,” he recently said. “But also at the same time, I’m looking forward to this next chapter and heading out to Boston and playing for the Red Sox. Another outstanding organization.”
