The first Viva Los Dodgers event of the season is scheduled to take place at the iconic 76 station in the Dodger Stadium parking lot on Sunday, April 22, beginning at 3:00 p.m. PT. Those planning to attend can enter auto gates at 2:35 p.m.
Festivities will include an appearance by legendary Dodgers coach Manny Mota, who will hold an autograph session. The family-friendly event will feature live music and interactive games as part of the celebration of Mexico.
Mariachi Sol de México de José Hernández will perform live on the Viva Los Dodgers stage, and DJ Malski will mix live, and Ballet Folklorico LA will showcase a variety of traditional Mexican dances.
In conjunction with Earth Day, City Plants and Los Angeles Department of Water and Power will be present to sign up city residents for free home delivery of shade trees.
Viva Los Dodgers is scheduled to take place on the last Sunday of every month during the regular season, with the event beginning two hours prior to first pitch.
Kiké Hernández, Yasiel Puig, Jaime Jarrín, Jorge Jarrín, Fernando Valenzuela and Pepe Yñiguez were among those to attend throughout last season. Viva Los Dodgers culminates with La Gran Fiesta Viva Los Dodgers on Saturday, Sept. 22.
Along with Spectrum and Coca-Cola, Dodgers partners 76, Calpico, Welk Resorts and Your SoCal Honda Dealers will also take part in the season-long initiative to celebrate Latino culture in Los Angeles and the legacy of past and present Latino Dodgers.
Each of these family friendly festivals includes a theme and is free to attend with a game-day ticket.
