The 2025 Dodgers schedule is a third consecutive season under MLB’s return to a balanced approach. Prior to 2023, MLB hadn’t had a balanced schedule since Interleague play was introduced in 1997.
That has brought about various changes, including the Dodgers only making two visits to opposing National League West cities and playing a total of 52 divisional games (down from 76). Furthermore, each team now plays 46 Interleague games, which is an increase from 20.
The Dodgers’ first Interleague matchup this season takes place early as they host Jack Flaherty and the Detroit Tigers to begin the domestic portion of their schedule.
