The Los Angeles Dodgers weren’t able to celebrate their World Series win in traditional fashion with a parade because of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, but they did recently get to visit the White House.

For fans, they primarily have been limited to celebrating during the home opener, when the Dodgers held their World Series ring ceremony. For those that have been able to make it to Dodger Stadium after that point, mementos are positioned throughout the renovated center field plaza.

Now the team is providing fans with an opportunity to further commemorate the franchise’s first title since 1988 with a viewing party for the series opener against the New York Mets and multiple pop-up celebrations.

The festivities begin at the Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica, Calif., on Thursday at 11 a.m. PT. A live DJ will be on hand, along with former players and the World Series trophy for photo opportunities, and a chance to purchase new Dodgers merchandise.

Then on Saturday, the Dodgers’ pop-up celebration will be at Plaza Mexico in Lynwood, Calif., from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. PT.

Like with the Santa Monica event, a DJ, new merchandise and former Dodgers players are among the highlights for the Lynwood celebration.

Among the merchandise that will be available at the pop-up celebrations are products from the Dodgers City Connect look, which was officially unveiled Thursday morning.

A blue jersey with “Los Dodgers” across the chest is complete with a cap bearing the same, and blue pants as well. The Dodgers will debut the new look on the field Friday and Saturday.
