Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation Hosting Yoga On The Field At Dodger Stadium

The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation is hosting its 10th annual Sunset Run weekend at Dodger Stadium with a newly added one-hour yoga session on the field, along with a wellness expo.

The yoga session takes place on Friday, September 29, at 6 p.m. PT, and limited spots remain available. Entry is $60 per person, or $45 for those registered for the Sunset Run, and can be made here.

Registration includes a reserved spot for a one-hour yoga session led by an instructor. Each participant must be at least 13 years old to register.

Yoga mats are not provided, so the LADF asks participants to bring their own light-colored mat. Dark-colored mats, including black, dark grey and navy blue, will not be allowed on the field.

The Health and Wellness Expo will also be taking place at Dodger Stadium in the center field plaza, beginning at 1 p.m. and ending at 7 p.m.

Department of Water and Power, PRIME, My Image Skin and Body, Doom Rehab, Health-Ade, Generic Events, PRO Compressions, West Coast Fitness, Golden Road Brewing, Homebody, L.A. Kings, Positive Coach, Students Run LA, Levelwear, Sports Research, Kaleo Marketing, iMed Downtown and a Los Angeles Dodgers Membership Booth

On Saturday, the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation Sunset Run is take place with nearly 10,000 participants in the 5K, 10K or Kids Fun Run in and outside of Dodger Stadium.

All proceeds from the event benefit the Dodgers Foundation in aiding their mission to improve education, health care, homelessness and social justice for all Angelenos.

“The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation is celebrating a decade of hosting the Sunset Run, an event that not only brings joy to Dodger fans but also plays a vital role in supporting our mission to address the most critical challenges facing our city,” LADF CEO Nichol Whiteman said in a statement.

“Our collective strength shines through, as every participant’s registration contributes to fulfilling our mission within the communities we are dedicated to serving.”

In-person participants and spectators at Dodger Stadium will enjoy sunset views of Downtown L.A.’s iconic skyline and Centerfield Plaza. Runners have several courses to choose from featuring live music and DJs throughout, with a cool-down lap on the Dodger Stadium warning track.

Former Dodgers players will be on-hand to cheer and congratulate runners as they cross the finish line.

The 5K race begins at 6:10 p.m., while the 10K starts one hour later. The Kids Fun Race begins at 7:30 p.m. The Health and Wellness Expo also continues on Saturday, running from 4-10 p.m.

All registered runners will receive a Dodgers 2023 tech shirt, finisher’s medal, race bib, and a limited-edition Clayton Kershaw Run Bobblehead.

In-person and virtual registration options remain available.

There is no age requirement to participate in the 5K and 10K run. Participants must be 12 years or younger on race day to take part in the Kids Fun Run. All participants must sign a waiver prior to participating in the event.
